Lomography's Motto: “Don’t Think, Just Shoot”
a.
Description of the technique including why it is useful
Lomography cameras are great. I've been collecting them for years now and I continue to be impressed by them. Unlike the very weak Instagram fad Lomography does vintage styled photography the right way. So basically the cameras themselves range from the standard sort to fish eyes, 4 lens cameras ( so the shot looks like a Warhol print) to Rollieflex type cameras and so on. they are all Lo-Fi and all use film, either 120 or 35mm.
So the reason why Ive decided to try to replicate the look in Photoshop and why the technique is useful is of cause because Lomography cameras shoot on film not digitally.

Brief description of the processes involved
What makes a lomo photo stand out:
Distinct Features of a Lomo Photograph
1) Cross Processed Colors
2) Increased Saturation
3) Blown Highlights/Clipped Shadows
4) Heavy Vignetting
5) Film Grain
6) Sharp Center/Blurred Edges
So these features are what I will be re creating in Photoshop.
